The purpose of this website is to provide an opportunity for people in Australia with a disability to have their say about a variety of social issues. This research began in 2010 and will continue until mid-2012.
The first poll, which asked people with a disability about their sense of social inclusion, is now closed. A total of 763 people, aged 18 to 98 years, completed the survey.

Since starting this project, researchers have presented to the Australasian Society for the Study of Intellectual Disabilities (2010) and the Australian Social Policy Conference (2011) on how and why this online poll was created.
We are currently finalising the questions for poll number 2. This poll is based on ideas from participants who completed the first poll.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the first poll on social inclusion. See the results of the poll on social inclusion here.
